Rush Defenceman Jeremy Thompson will play brothers Lyle, Myles and Jereome in a record setting NLL season opener.
It's the Saskatchewan Rush season opener in Georgia Saturday night, but it might feel more like a Thompson family reunion.
Rush defenceman Jeremy Thompson will play against brothers Lyle, Miles and Jerome when the Rush take on the Storm.
It's believed to be the first time four brothers have ever played in the same professional lacrosse game, the most siblings in one game ever.
“Having four incredibly talented siblings and world-class lacrosse athletes play in our League is a rare feat, and a testament to their athletic skill and passion for box lacrosse,” said Nick Sakiewicz, Commissioner of the National Lacrosse League.
The league has applied to make the feat an official Guinness World Record.
