Blades shutout for second straight night

The Saskatoon Blades were held off the scoresheet in a 2-0 loss to Tri-City.

For the second straight game the Saskatoon Blades were held scoreless, the latest a 2-0 loss to Tri-City on Saturday.

Americans goalie Rylan Parenteau stopped all 25 shots the Blades through at him in the shutout win.

Morgan Geekie opened the scoring in the first for the visitors while Nolan Yaremko added a late empty netter.

Logan Flodell made 33 saves on 34 shots in the narrow loss, earning Second Star honours for his efforts. 

The Blades are back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 10 when they host Calgary.
