Rest not rust for the Saskatchewan Rush after a first-round playoff bye.

Sniper Adam Jones scored six times in an 18-9 win over Colorado in game one of the NLL's West Division final.

After a relatively even opening three-quarters, the Rush offense exploded in the fourth. Led by four from Jones they would score nine times in the quarter.

Jones would add three helpers for a nine-point night. Forward Mark Matthews scored two of his own and dished out seven assists for nine points of his own.

Aaron Bold made 31 saves as Saskatchewan outshot the Mammoth 57-40.

With the win, the Rush leads the best-of-three 1-0 heading back to Saskatoon on Saturday, May 20. Should Colorado win game two, the teams will immediately play a 10-minute mini game.
