If you were driving on Albert street last night by downtown Regina and you saw the signal for Batman, you might have thought there was a superhero at work.

It was beamed onto the west side of the NCO building at the corner of Victoria Avenue and McIntyre Street, but it wasn’t the ‘Caped Crusader.’

It was Light it Up Promotions, owned by Darren Szabo. Thursday night’s display was just a preview of a new project the building has agreed to, which will turn the building into a giant, bright billboard.

The displays will be booked through Szabo’s company, with a portion going towards the building’s owners.

However, the building will take that money and donate it to the Z-99 radiothon for the Rawlco Centre for Mother Baby Care.
