Check the package and the brand before you fry up ground beef for supper, it could be contaminated with ecoli bacteria.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for some brands of ground beef including: Kirkland Signature, Safeway and Calahoo Meats brands.

So far no one has reported being sick from it. Edmonton-based X-L Foods issued the recall for these brands of beef sold in Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC, Manitoba and Ontario.

You can check a full list of the specific packs on the Canada Food Inspection Agency website.
