Prince Albert RCMP are investigating the escape of two prisoners from the minimum-security Riverbend Institution in Prince Albert. It happened at around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25.

An extensive search of the area didn’t turn up the men. Thiry-one-year-old Christopher Gibson (shown on the left) is described as being 6’1”, 268lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.  He has chinese symbols and a rose tattooed on his left forearm.  The other escapee is 37-year-old Cory Christopher Hourd (shown on the right). He’s 5’11”, 161lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes.  Hourd has a barbed wire tattoo on his right upper arm.

Both subjects are considered violent and should not be approached.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Prince Albert RCMP or their local RCMP detachment. Mounties think the men may be heading towards Regina.
