Update: RCMP say they found and arrested Conrad Slippery Sunday afternoon thanks to a tip from the public. Both escaped prisoners are now accounted for.
One escaped prisoner has been found and another is still missing after the pair left a Duck Lake-are minimum security facility.
Rosthern RCMP are on the hunt for Conrad Slippery, 31, who was serving time at the Willow Cree Healing Lodge.
On Saturday afternoon, Slippery and fellow prisoner Anthony Ernest, 25, walked away from the facility. Early Sunday morning, Ernest was found by RCMP with help from their Police Dog Unit thanks to a tip from the public.
Slippery is classified as ‘at large’ and police warn everyone to take caution if they see him and call authorities instead of walking up to him.
Slippery, is a First Nations male, six feet tall and 180 pounds. He’s has short black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black Nike pants with a white stripe and white Air Jordan shoes.
A White GMC Yukon was seen in the area around the time the men went missing on Saturday.
