Regina police have arrested a 51-year-old man following an alleged assault Sunday night.
Police were called to the 800 block of Angus Street at 11:50 p.m. Officers found a man and two women at the scene. The 43-year-old man had a head wound; police say the weapon is believed to be a pipe or a block of wood. He needed surgery and his injuries are considered life-threatening.
Keith Earl Papequash has now been arrested and is facing two counts of aggravated assault.
Papequash makes his first court appearance at Regina Provincial Court Tuesday morning.
