An bizarre series of events Monday morning has left a Saskatoon senior with a wide array of charges.
The 66-year-old man was pulled over on his motorcycle for a safety violation near Sifton Park on 29th Street around 10 a.m.
The man exposed himself to police before going into his home nearby.
Police said he told then he was going to get a weapon and mentioned a gun. He returned wielding a hatchet.
When he refused to listen to officers they tasered him, arrested him and brought him to the hospital as a precaution.
No gun was found but the police investigation continues.
The man faces charges of Indecent exposure, Obstructing a Police Officer, Uttering Threats, and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public.
