Canada Revenue fraudster convinces victim to pay $40K in Saskatoon

Saskatoon police say if you get a call from the Canada Revenue Agency, be on high alert.
 
There have been hundreds of fraudulent calls in the city, where the callers claim taxes are owed and become aggressive about repayment.
 
In one case a victim was bullied into paying $40,000.
 
Police are asking anyone who has been a victim of fraud to contact them. If you receive a call from the fraudsters, police advise people to contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
