An 18-year-old man who pleaded guilty to charges in connection to a fatal ATV crash in Kamsack has been sentenced to 20 months in prison.
Kaylon Tourngeau-Genaille pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, break and enter, and possession of stolen property. It was in relation to an ATV crash on Canada Day in Kamsack.
The quad had been stolen, then driven around the east Saskatchewan town erratically. An off-duty police officer was eventually flagged down and told someone had been badly hurt.
Brandon Cote, 18, from the Cote First Nation was one of the passengers on the ATV; he died at the scene.
