'I'm excited': Former Blue Bomber Andrew Harris joins Riders coaching staff

Harris said his final few seasons in Toronto helped prepare him to be a coach.
The Saskatoon Blades will host the Prince Albert Raiders for their season opener on Friday night at SaskTel Centre.
The tailgate party will start at 5:15 p.m. before the puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
The festivities, which include food and drinks, will take place on the northwest side of SaskTel Centre. Regina bluegrass-folk band The Dead South will perform. Tickets will need to be presented to enter the tailgate party.
When the Blades hit the ice, they will be wearing special vintage jerseys that are replica editions of the original ones worn after first becoming the Blades in 1964.
The jerseys will be auctioned during the game.

In honour of the 50th season, the team will recognize Larry Korchinski, who played for the team from 1981-84 before going to the University of Saskatchewan and becoming a lawyer for Cameco.
Wendel Clark will be honoured for his hockey achievement. Clark, who played with the Blades from 1983-85, is best known for his role with the Toronto Maple Leafs. A signed Clark jersey will be raffled at the game.
The Blades named Nick Zajac team captain on Thursday.
The team is reminding drivers that Idylwyld Drive and Highway 16 overpass is still under construction.
