Two escaped prisoners are back in custody after an incident that saw RCMP and city police swarm a rural area north of Saskatoon.
RCMP were told two men from the Saskatoon Correctional Centre who were part of a reduced custody urban work camp walked away from their group in the 500 block of Main Street in Martensville around 9 a.m.
Daniel Forest, 25, was found and arrested in a rural area in Corman Park around 11:55 a.m. while Cory Lee Rushkewich, also 25, was spotted by a passerby and arrested at 5:25 p.m.
Both men will be in court Friday on charges of escaping lawful custody.
