Sarah Mills says parents are probably breathing a sigh of relief as kids head back to school after the Easter break.
Saskatoon police were called to the scene of a sudden death Wednesday afternoon.
In a release, police said they arrived at a home on the 300 block of Garrison Crescent around 3:20 p.m. after witnesses reported hearing gunshots.
They arrived to find a man dead in the house.
Officers from the major crimes, forensic units, as well as canine and patrol units are investigating.
A woman who lived across the street described the neighbourhood as a good place to live with a lot of professionals and business people.
She said the people living in the home had just moved in a few months ago and had noticed a lot of activity at the home.
