An early-morning shooting on Saturday could be Prince Albert’s first murder of 2016.
Members of the Prince Albert Police Service responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of 1st Ave. West at about 3 a.m. They’d been called about someone being shot. When officers arrived they found a 23-year-old man dead. The death is being treated as a homicide.
The name of the victim had not yet been released as of Sunday morning.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12.
