A Regina teenager is in some trouble after allegedly threatening a taxi driver with a machete.
It happened in the 1000 block of Pasqua Street just before 6 a.m. Saturday.
Police say when the ride ended, the suspect produced a machete and held it to the driver. The driver was able to get away, but while doing so, cut his hand. The suspect ran away leaving the machete behind.
The teenager was found and arrested by police a short time later.
The 17-year-old suspect, who cannot be named because of his age, is facing a charge of armed robbery. He will make his first court appearance Monday.
