The Regina Pats come home desperate for a win.
The Pats dropped both games in Red Deer over the weekend, starting their second-round series down 2-0.
Regina started the series with an early 2-0 lead in game one, only to lose it 3-2 as Red Deer shut the door the rest of the way.
It was a back and forth game in game two, although the Pats did score the first goal of the game. Red Deer fought back to take the lead and the Pats then were able to keep the game even until Red Deer got the game winner with just over 8 minutes left.
The 4-3 loss to the Rebels means the Pats will need to find an edge on home ice if they want to get back into the series with the Memorial Cup hosts.
However, the Pats will need to get better in five on five play as all five goals in the series have come on the power play.
The Pats play Tuesday and Wednesday at the Brandt Centre.
