The Regina Pats have acquired two forwards in a trade with the Everett Silvertips.
Coming to the Pats will be forwards Dawson Leedahl and the WHL rights to forward Tyson Jost.
Leedahl played with the Silvertips for four seasons, where he scored 101 points, 37 goals and 64 assists in 226 games.
Leedahl, who is originally from Saskatoon also was the captain of the Silvertips for the past two seasons.
Tyson Jost, who is originally from St. Albert Alberta was selected in the first round, 10 overall in the 2016 NHL draft.
Jost played the last two seasons with the Penticton Vees of the BCHL, where he scored 149 points, 65 goals, 84 assists in 94 games.
Jost has committed to play for the University of North Dakota this fall.
In exchange the Pats have sent forward Sean Richards and a 4th round draft pick as well as a conditional pick to the Silvertips.
Richards scored 18 points, 3 goals, 15 assists in 54 games for the Pats.
