On Thursday morning, the man was found outside a home on the first nation, about 121 kilometres north of Regina. RCMP said he was in medical distress and was taken to Wynyard Hospital, but was soon moved to a hospital in Regina by STARS Air Ambulance.
The man ended up dying in hospital on Friday.
RCMP said they’re working with the Major Crimes Unit South, Yorkton Forensic Identification Section, and the Office of the Chief Coroner to figure out whether the sudden death is suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
