The Regina Pats continue their dominance, extending their current winning streak to six games.
It was a sold out crowd at the Brandt Centre for the game against the Seattle Thunderbirds and the team delivered for hometown fans with a 6-3 win.
Six different players hit the back of the net during the game, starting with Austin Wagner who gave the Pats a 1-0 lead going into the first intermission.
In the second Sam Steel and Lane Zablocki got on the board, but Seattle added two themselves courtesy of Ethan Bear and Sami Moilanen. That left the game at 3-2 going into the third period.
A quick powerplay goal by the Thunderbirds tied it up early in the third, but captain Adam Brooks came through with what would be the game winner with about ten minutes left in the game.
The Thunderbirds went on to pull their goalie and the Pats took advantage adding two empty netters from Connor Hobbs and Dawson Leedahl.
Tyler Brown made 26 saves for his sixth win of the season.
The Pats remain undefeated in regulation time, moving to 10-0-3 (the three stands for overtime losses). The Pats sit in third place overall in the WHL and first in the eastern conference.
Next up the Pats will play the Kootenay Ice at 7 pm at the Brandt Centre.
