A pair of Saskatoon restaurants are getting national recognition.
Little Grouse on the Prairie and Ayden Kitchen & Bar have both made Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list for 2017.
The national guide sends judges across the country to put eateries to the test before putting out the rankings.
Both restaurants are owned by Dale McKay, a Saskatoon-born chef who gained fame after winning The Food Network’s first-ever Top Chef Canada competition in 2011.
Little Grouse came in at number 67, with Ayden ranked 91.
The two restaurants are located on Third Avenue South in downtown Saskatoon.
Ayden has made the list each year since it started in 2015.
No other Saskatchewan restaurants were included.
Toronto’s Alo restaurant took the number one spot.
