The Pats halted a Moose Jaw Warriors comeback Saturday night, to secure wins in both games of their home and home series.
Friday night the Pats silenced Moose Jaw in a 5-0 win at the Brandt Centre, but the Warriors had more fight in them at their home rink, outshooting the Pats 35-22.
However, Regina came out victorious in the end, besting their division rivals 4-3.
The scoring started late in the first period with Pats forward Braydon Buziak netting his 10th of the year around the 14-minute mark.
Captain Adam Brooks got in on the action 90 seconds later, taking advantage of the powerplay and putting the Pats up 2-0 heading into the first intermission.
The Pats came out firing in the second and Filip Ahl took advantage scoring his 25th of the season less than two minutes into the period, but then the Warriors began to take control.
At 9:13 in the second Brayden Burke found his way past Pats goaltender Tyler Brown, and just moments after Thomas Foster scored to put the Warriors within one.
It was 3-2 at the end of the second period.
Halfway through the third period, Brooks scored an unassisted goal and the eventual game-winner to secure the Pats win. It was his second of the game, his 39th of the season and a new career high.
Moose Jaw would score one more goal in the third, but lose the game to the Pats 4-3.
Up next, Saskatoon will visit the Pats at the Brandt Centre Tuesday night.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
