It’s a week away, and we still don’t know who the opponent will be, but that didn’t stop Pats fans from lining up for tickets Friday afternoon.
Regina swept the Calgary Hitmen in round one of the playoffs Thursday night, outscoring their opponents 20-6 over four games and moving one step closer to a Memorial Cup berth.
Tickets went on sale for games one and two of the next round at noon and several dozen people were there to ensure they got tickets exactly where they wanted them.
The Pats won’t know who they’re playing in the next around until the conclusion of the series with their division rivals. The Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Broncos are currently deadlocked at two games apiece in their best of seven series. The winner will go on to face Regina.
The Pats have announced, however, that game one is happening on Thursday, and game two will be on Friday.
Tickets are still available in person at the Brandt Centre ticket office or via Ticketmaster, but are selling fast.
