It’s Easter Monday, which means an extra-long weekend for some, but not others.
It’s mostly back to business on Monday, with garbage collection and recycling being picked up as usual.
Regina transit and paratransit return to regular weekday service.
People who want to take advantage of an extra day off to get things done can go to Regina’s landfill on Monday. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the entry gates closing at 6:45 p.m.
But not everything’s opened to start off the week.
Riverside Memorial Park and Regina cemeteries are closed on Monday, in addition to the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre and Art Gallery of Regina. Civic offices are also closed.
The North West Leisure Centre’s strength and conditioning area and leisure swim is open from 12 to 6 p.m. The Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre is also open from 12 to 6 p.m.
The Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
City libraries are closed today as well.
The city’s parking meters will be enforced as usual Monday.
