Blaze leaves family homeless in Pilot Butte

A home in Pilot Butte went up in flames Saturday afternoon.
The Pilot Butte fire department were first on scene at the home on Fourth Avenue.
More than 20 firefighters from Pilot Butte, White City and the Balgonie volunteer fire department helped douse the blaze. It took fire crews just over three hours for it to be controlled and extinguished.
On Facebook, Balgonie volunteer fire department said no one was home at the time. They also said the home is a complete loss.
