A Regina man has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman was found dead in a home yesterday.
Officers found the woman, 33-year-old Jenny Leigh McKay, in a home on the 200 block of Angus Street after responding to an assist citizen call. A 45-year-old man was also in the home.
According to the police, the home was secured as the coroner, major crimes and forensic investigators were called in to investigate. The woman’s next-of-kin was notified.
Police have charged 45-year-old Jason Daniel McKay with second-degree murder. He made his first court appearance in Regina Thursday morning.
This is Regina’s sixth murder in 2017.
