Regina police officers are back riding city buses in an attempt to crack down on distracted drivers.
Police caught more than 30 drivers using their phones during Operation Bus Cop back in March. In total, 34 cell phone tickets were handed out, along with 35 other infraction tickets, including seatbelt use and speeding.
Now officers will once again be riding buses throughout the month of October to get a better view of distracted drivers.
Police say distracted driving is the leading cause of traffic fatalities in the province.
