A 46-year-old man is facing several weapons charges after allegedly walking into a Hudson Bay court with a loaded handgun.
Hudson Bay RCMP said in a release an officer in the provincial court was tipped off about the man, who was walking freely through the building.
The officer followed the man outside, where he was arrested without incident. A loaded handgun and loaded magazine were found in the area shortly after.
Police said no-one was injured in the incident.
Donald Cory Schulz, 46, is facing five charges including carrying a firearm into a public meeting.
He appeared in Nipawin Provincial Court Thursday morning. He will appear again at Melfort Provincial Court on Feb. 1.
