Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the southwestern corner of Saskatchewan.
The warning covers Shaunavon, Maple Creek, Val Marie and Cypress Hills. People in those areas could see up to 15 to 20 cm or about eight inches of snow.
The snow is expected to continue throughout the day before letting up in the afternoon. People living in Shaunavon and areas west toward the Alberta border may see the heaviest snowfall.
Road conditions change quickly so people travelling in the area are advised to check the Highway Hotline before heading out.
