The Wheat Kings are one win back of the Pats in the first wild-card spot followed closely by the Saskatoon Blades.
Max Paddock was solid in net with a 37 save effort that earned him first star honours as his team was outshot by P.A. 38-24.
Nick Henry opened the scoring for the Pats at the 7:23 mark of the first period with a pass from Matt Bradley.
Jared Legien added to the tally later in the period after being fed by Sam Steel to give the Pats a 2-0 lead heading into the first intermission.
The Raiders answered back in the second when Brett Leason scored his 12th of the season with an assist from Cole Fonstad.
But the Pats sealed the deal in the final period with an empty-netter by Matt Bradley.
