Those hoping to grab a bite to eat at Thursday’s Eagles concert will have lots of local options to choose from.
Lancaster Taphouse is one of many Regina-based restaurants that will have concessions open at the show.
Tim Rogers, co-owner of Lancaster Taphouse, said they’re excited to be featuring a few new items this week — all of which will involve locally-made sausage from Regina’s Ukrainian Co-op.
Along with the restaurant’s signature beer and pretzels, he said Ukrainian sausage will be available on a bun, in nugget form with a side of barbecue sauce and even wrapped in a soft pretzel.
“We had lots of requests last year for something like corn dogs, so we put our heads together and came up with the pretzel wrap sausage and it’s sure something different,” Rogers said with a laugh.
Lancaster has two concessions at Mosaic Stadium; one located in the northeast corner on the lower level and another on the upper level’s west side.
