The Regina Riot women’s football team will be back in the jerseys they wore all season for the championship game this weekend.
On June 10, the van belonging to the team’s equipment manager was stolen, along with player jerseys.
According to Regina police, the van was found abandoned eight days later near Government House with the jerseys inside.
The investigation into the stolen vehicle is now underway, and anyone who may have information is asked to contact police.
The Regina Riot host the 2018 Western Women’s Canadian Football League Championship at Mosaic Stadium Sunday.
