"To win that provincial final has just been unreal - just a moment I sort of dreamed for a long time."
Burt Reynolds, whose Hollywood career included starring roles in Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit and Boogie Nights, has died.
His representatives confirmed he died Thursday at the Jupiter Medical Center in Florida after suffering a heart attack.
Reynolds was one of the biggest box office draws of the 70s and 80s and received an Oscar nomination for his role as porn director Jack Horner in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 1997 film Boogie Nights (1997).
He was 82 years old.
