Regina Pats earn 1st win of the season in Swift Current

The Regina Pats picked up their first win of the season Friday night.

The Pats beat the Broncos 6-5 in Swift Current.

Austin Pratt, Nick Henry and Aaron Hyman led the offence with three points each, while Dean McNabb made 24 saves in his first start for the Pats.

Forward Carter Massier and defenceman Nikita Sedov also recorded their first career WHL points, with an assist each.

The team is 1-4 heading into a home game against the Brandon Wheat Kings starting at 7 p.m.
