Atlee Simon has played his entire football career in Regina, but he will be taking his talents a little farther west in the pros.
The Calgary Stampeders announced they signed the Regina Rams running back to a contract Friday.
Simon, who played high school football at Thom Collegiate, is the University of Regina Rams all-time leading rusher with 3,295 yards during his five-year career.
He was a Canada West all-star in 2017 and was voted the team MVP during that campaign as well.
He scored 31 touchdowns during his time with the Rams.
Simon was selected in the sixth round of the 2018 draft by the Stampeders.
