Environment Canada continues to warn people living in eastern Saskatchewan of extremely cold conditions.
An extreme cold warning Sunday morning stretches from the Fond du Lac area south through Cree Lake, La Ronge, Melfort, Tisdale, Kamsack and Esterhazy.
It continues east to the Manitoba border.
The warning means windchills as low as -50 C at times.
In those conditions, Environment Canada says frostbite can develop within minutes.
The frigid temperatures are expected to improve through the day Sunday and lead to the end of the warnings, according to the weather office.
