Those hoping to take a dip in the pool at the Lawson Aquatic Centre this week will have to hold off for the foreseeable future.
The City of Regina says a power outage on Tuesday caused a breakdown in the facility’s air handling unit and now a part needs to be replaced before the pool can be reopened.
In a media release, the city said it “understands the importance of the Lawson pool in our community and is making this repair a top priority.”
There currently isn’t a timeline on the repair.
The Fieldhouse — which is located in the same building — is to reopen Wednesday afternoon.
