The RCMP has arrested another suspect in Tiki Laverdiere’s homicide who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
The RCMP said Nikita Sandra Cook was arrested on Thursday by Edmonton Police Service officers without incident in the Alberta capital.
The woman from the Onion Lake Cree Nation is charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping.
She’s to make her first court appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday.
Cook was the seventh person charged in connection to Laverdiere’s ongoing homicide investigation. An eighth person was arrested Thursday.
