Jamie Nye: Williams-Lambert provides coaches with a tough decision

The 2018 West Division rookie of the year arrives in Saskatchewan and someone is about to lose his roster spot.

Jordan Williams-Lambert provides a reliable big target for Cody Fajardo and there was no hiding it from Craig Dickenson: When Williams-Lambert is good to go, he’ll play.

But Dickenson says there is no room to make adjustments other than taking one of the four rostered Americans off to make room for last year’s rookie of the year.

Emmanuel Arceneaux is coming off his best game as a Rider, and his leadership off the field and during games has helped guide a young receiving corps.

Kyran Moore has slowed since a hot start but he’s a dynamic receiver who can make big plays.

And it would appear that Shaq Evans and Naaman Roosevelt are must stays as they’ve been the two most reliable receivers the Riders have had over the last month.

Someone is going to check their ego at the door but when depth wins championships, this is a good problem to have if you’re the Roughriders.
