Regina police are investigating a head-on crash between a pickup truck and a semi on Ring Road.
Regina police say the pickup was heading the wrong way down the westbound lanes when it collided with a semi just before 3 a.m. Saturday near the Wascana Parkway exit. Ring Road was closed between south Albert Street and Wascana Parkway for hours as a result.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The semi driver was also hospitalized but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing with collision reconstructionists on scene.
