A 31-year-old Regina man is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after a serious crash on Ring Road early Saturday morning.
Police said the collision happened on Ring Road between Albert Street South and Wascana Parkway just before 3 a.m.
According to the investigation, Kraig Skoye, the driver of the pickup truck involved in the crash, was driving the wrong way (eastbound) down the westbound lanes when he collided head-on with a semi.
Skoye was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The semi driver — a 38-year-old man from Calgary — was also rushed to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Part of Ring Road was closed until 12:30 p.m. Saturday as a result of the crash.
Skoye is set to appear in provincial court Tuesday morning.
