The Prince Albert Raiders scored five unanswered goals to down the Regina Pats 5-2 in WHL action Friday at the Brandt Centre.
Riley Krane scored goals at 5:49 and 16:50 of the first period and the Pats took that 2-0 advantage to the dressing room after 20 minutes.
Cole Nagy (at 16:06) and Evan Herman (16:32) sniped 26 seconds apart in the second period to pull the Raiders even.
Prince Albert then went off in the third, getting two goals from Brayden Watts and one from Aliaksei Protas. Watts’ second goal was into an empty net.
Protas added two assists and Ozzy Wiesblatt had three helpers for the Raiders.
Boston Bilous stopped 23 shots for Prince Albert (2-0-1), which didn’t take a penalty in the contest. Danton Belluk made 24 saves for the Pats.
Regina (1-2-0) returns to action Sunday, 4 p.m., when the Winnipeg Ice visits the Brandt Centre.
