During the Thanksgiving long weekend, 149,043 people cast early ballots in Saskatchewan’s 14 federal ridings.
That compares to 91,891 advance votes in the 2015 federal election.
A breakdown provided by Elections Canada on Friday afternoon offered a detailed look at the number of votes cast in each area.
The updated information confirms the initial numbers reported on Tuesday, after advance polls closed, were accurate.
Elections Canada estimates showed 4.7 million people voted early across the country. The numbers released Friday showed a total of 4,774,963 took advantage of advance polls.
It’s an overall increase of 29 per cent compared to the 2015 turnout.
Voting day is Monday.
