Kastelic’s four-point night helps Hitmen outlast Pats

The Calgary Hitmen scored three unanswered goals en route to a 4-2 WHL victory over the Regina Pats on Wednesday at the Brandt Centre.
Regina led 2-1 in the second period, but Mark Kastelic scored goals at 12:53 (on a power play) and 13:54 (while Calgary was shorthanded) of that period to put the Hitmen ahead.
Riley Stotts’ goal at 18:44 of the third completed the Calgary comeback. Kastelic drew an assist on that goal and also set up Jett Woo’s tally early in the second period.
Austin Pratt and Ty Kolle had goals for the Pats (3-14-2-0).
Jack McNaughton made 31 saves for Calgary (11-6-2-1). Max Paddock stopped 32 shots in Regina’s net.
The Pats are to visit the Swift Current Broncos on Friday.
