Max Paddock made 25 saves for his first shutout of the 2019-20 WHL season as the Regina Pats beat the host Swift Current Broncos 6-0 on Friday.
Robbie Holmes scored three goals for the Pats, who improved to 4-14-2-0 on the season. It was the first hat trick of Holmes’ WHL career.
Riley Krane, Nikita Sedov and Zack Smith also scored goals for Regina, which got two assists each from Tyson Feist, Carson Denomie, Drew Englot and Zach Wytinck.
Isaac Poulter faced 55 shots in the Broncos’ net.
The six goals are the most the Pats have scored in regulation time this season. They won 6-5 in a shootout against the Red Deer Rebels on Oct. 19.
The loss dropped Swift Current’s record to 5-13-1-2.
Regina is to visit the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday.
