Truck driving with missing wheels stopped near Saskatoon

A bizarre scene occurred Sunday around 8 p.m., when a semi-truck was stopped by Corman Park police driving with no back wheels.

Corman Park police sent pictures out on Twitter Sunday night after receiving a 911 call.

The truck that would usually be an 18-wheeler appeared to be driving without six of the back eight wheels when it was pulled over on Grasswood Road just outside of Saskatoon.

The driver was charged with driving with a major defect present, operating a vehicle with no safety inspection and displaying an unauthorized licence plate.
