A 42-year-old Regina man is facing 11 weapons-related charges after a gun call in the city Monday morning.
The Regina Police Service said it got a call at about 6:30 a.m., that someone had fired three shots inside a house in the 1800 block of Atkinson Street.
Police surrounded the residence and then waited three hours for the suspect to come out of the house. When he did, he was arrested.
Officers searched the house and found two guns as well as damage consistent with gunshots.
There weren’t any injuries.
The man is facing six charges of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and one charge each of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm, careless use of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm and possession of a prohibited weapon.
He’s to make first court appearance on Tuesday.
