Regina residents who live in the Cathedral neighbourhood may soon be able to walk to another liquor store.
The city is reviewing the proposed development of a Sobeys Liquor store at the corner of 13th Avenue and Retallack Street.
The corner lot is mostly vacant except for one office building which houses the constituency office for NDP MLA Carla Beck. That building would have to be demolished upon approval of the project.
The proposed development would have five parking stalls, including one which is wheelchair accessible, along the east side of the lot next to the existing, paved alley.
The city is looking for feedback from the public, setting a deadline of Jan. 23. The comment form can be found on the city website here.
