The Regina Police Service is investigating a woman’s death, after officers found her body laying on the ground in the North Central area on Thursday afternoon at about 4:15.
In an emailed news release, the police service said its members arrived on the scene, at the 3200 block of Dewdney Avenue, and pronounced her dead.
The police service has told the woman’s family about her death.
But it’s waiting for the Officer of the Chief Coroner to do an autopsy on her; until then the police service said it won’t be releasing her name or if her death is deemed suspicious.
Regina police are asking that anyone who has information about her death contact them at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
