Saskatoon-born long-snapper Jorgen Hus has signed a one-year contract extension with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The CFL team made the announcement Tuesday. Hus, 30, could have become a free agent Feb. 11.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Hus has spent the past five seasons with the Roughriders. A product of the University of Regina Rams, Hus has recorded 15 special-teams tackles in 81 career regular-season games with Saskatchewan.
Hus had NFL stints with the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs before joining the Roughriders in 2015.
